94 Points, Tip Top Tipple - Gary Walsh - "t’s all dried flower and mint, a chamomile perfume I think, peanut shells, strawberry, and quite some exotic spicy perfume. It’s medium-bodied, doesn’t have the structure of the Neive wines, but it does have succulence and bright red fruits, a quiet stony feel to tannin, and a minty strawberry finish of excellent length. The tannin shapes the finish and grips gently. It’s a lovely wine. Svelte and delicious. It’s Paitin, yes, but softer and more approachable. In short, yum."

17+ Jancis - "Barbaresco. Palish ruby with orange tinges. Lifted sour cherry, wild strawberry and with a black-peppery tingle. Great lift of acidity and then crunchy red fruit and fine gravelly tannins. Gorgeous length and tannic bite and super-elegant. (WS)"

93 Points Galloni - "The 2019 Barbaresco Faset is a new wine in this range from the blocks above Asili. All the character of this sector of Barbaresco comes through loud and clear. Crushed flowers, sweet red berry fruit, mint, chalk and white pepper are some of the many notes that grace this exquisite, beautifully layered Barbaresco from Paitin. Give the tannins a few years to soften."

93 Points Kerin O’Keefe - "Grilled herb, blue flower, sandalwood and wild berry aromas emerge from the glass. Tightly wound and structured, the linear palate offers cranberry, licorice and cinnamon alongside a backbone of close-grained tannins. Fresh acidity keeps it balanced."

93 Points The Wine Advocate - "Here's a new submission from Paitin. The 2019 Barbaresco Faset (with only 3,792 bottles produced) could be described as slightly softer and rounder compared to some of the other wines in this celebrated portfolio. The fruit is a bit riper too, with red cherry and wild strawberry. This expression is quite immediate and forthcoming, with more sweet fruits followed by earth and spice."
