94 Points, Mike Bennie - "This has a bit more grunt and dark fruit compared to other Muraje releases, even the Sumié itself. A chewy but juicy sluice of tannin frames dark cherry, panforte, anise and peppery spice flavours finishing long and with granitic sturdiness. The perfume is stewed plum, more anise, some salted liquorice then mint and mountain flowers chime in. Prettier, but still with authority. Plenty of depth and architecture here though visceral pleasure isn’t far. It’s a wine for dinner tables more than the couch, I would say."

100% Picotener Clone Nebbiolo. The vineyards are cultivated between 300 and 600 mt above sea level, on centuries old terraces supported by dry stone walls on rocky amphitheater of Carema town in province of Turin (Piedmont, north-west of Italy). Cru : Ciapey, Laurey, Falet, Costet, Costa, Siei, Masunì. The grapes are 100% Nebbiolo from vines which are on everage 50 years old and are trained using the ancient ‘pergola caremese’ (‘topie’ in local dialect) method.
