On broken limestone, a vineyard offered to a disbelieving Haisma by the broker who so crucially matches growers to winemakers in the Côte d'Or.
Slightly smudgy crimson. Intense cassis fruit on the nose. Intense, sweet fruit on the palate with a certain velvetiness of texture. Really quite wild in its panoply of flavours and already very enjoyable, even if embryonic. Zesty, fresh finish.
