Tortochot owns a small plot of approx. 0.2ha this excellent Premier Cru field, which is situated just up the Grand Cru field of Mazoyères-Chambertin in the more famous neighbouring commune of Gevrey Chambertin to the north.

Tortochots Morey St. Denis, Aux Charmes is a charming and terroir-true red Burgundy, which here in the 2019 vintage performs at a towering level.

The wine opens with intense and clean aromas of cherry, strawberry, red flowers, spices and underlying minerality.

Silky soft, it charms itself with fine fullness and floating lightness on the tongue, the acidity bursts and the slightly grainy tannins create an edge and at the same time testify to a vintage worthy of storage.
