This is an exceptional release from Stefano & a very ageworthy one at that. 

94 Points, Gary Walsh (TWF) – “Red cherry, raspberry, potpourri, liquorice, alpine herbs. It’s medium-bodied, kind of steely and tight, a little rosehip and herbal tea, plenty of cherry and spice, a little sappy, some orange peel, with a fine dusty grip to tannin, closing with excellent length. It has a juiciness to it, but also has something of a walnutty riserva character too. Distinctive.”

95 Points, James Suckling – “Blood oranges, dried roses, raspberries and rhubarb. Soft and elegant tannins with a velvety texture, crisp acidity and a full body. The finish is chewy yet balanced and dynamic.”
