A very special release & the first ever Riserva from Muraje - destined to be a classic & real collectable as these wines reach cult status from the miniscule production.

96 Points, Gary Walsh (TWF)- "Cherries, liquorice, so much perfume here – rose, violet, juniper and other assorted botanicals. It’s medium-bodied, cherry and red fruits, ultra-mineral and stony, crisp acidity, feels light in the mouth, though there’s no shortage of concentration or structure. Finish is very long and all crushed rock and perfume, cinched by some amaro tang. Outstanding. So distinctive too."

100% Picotener Clone Nebbiolo. The vineyards are cultivated between 300 and 600 mt above sea level, on centuries old terraces supported by dry stone walls on rocky amphitheater of Carema town in province of Turin (Piedmont, north-west of Italy). The grapes are 100% Nebbiolo from vines which are on average 50 years old and are trained using the ancient ‘pergola caremese’ (‘topie’ in local dialect) method.
