A musky, dusty nuance to start, followed by black cherry, decaying red florals, sage, and fennel with a balsamic and ferrous complexity in support. This is excellent Boca. The palate is cohesive and driven with red florals, ferrous, balsamic, and a savoury kick. There’s some broodiness here, and great intensity, while the stacked Nebbiolo tannins and latent lick of acidity carry it very long through the palate.
