2017 Jean-Jacques Confuron Chambolle-Musigny

Light to medium deep colour, quite elegant nose, more red fruit than floral, with a heartening middle ground of sweet red cherry fruit, the oak tannins behind do not get in the way, good length and just enough acidity. I prefer this to their 2018. Tasted: September 2019
