Lovely stemmy note to the nose, giving herbal character and fine-grained tannins. Light body yet plenty of substance and the finish returns to a fruit-dominant flavour with ample redcurrant and raspberry. (RH)

Medium deep dark purple colour. The fruit has a reductive edge but shows some depth. Quite powerful, meaty wine, but the reduction slightly has the upper hand. On the other hand it finishes on an engaging sweetness of fruit. If tehr eduction dissipates, expect more from this. Tasted: September 2019
