2016 Jean-Michel Gaunoux Pommard les Perrières Museum Relwase

A museum release directly from Jean-Michel's cellar.

VERY LIMITED 

From a site planted in 1956, the wine has all the ferrous minerality you might expect from Pommard but is atypically elegant.  The oak, though modest in use from the outset, is beautifully integrated.  

The wine is delicious now but we expect it to have another good 10-15 year cellaring potential. A recent tasting of the museum release 1998 we shipped last year serves to reaffirm this belief.
