Treiso. Quite youthful, deep ruby. Dark and spicy. Monolithic fruit with just the right amount of acidity. Powerful tannin but fits the fruit. Ongoing chewy and sweet fruit sensation. Needs age to soften out. Seems to challenge the adage that Barbaresco is more feminine than Barolo. It's nonsense, anyway. (WS)
