2005 Château du Tertre Margaux

17+/20 Jancis Robinson - Peppery black fruit with a slightly reductive smokiness at this point. The oak gives attractive cedary spicy flavours but doesn’t overwhelm the pure fruit on the palate. A gliding freshness thanks to silky tannins. (Julia Harding MW)
