91-93 Points Jasper Morris - "Two barrels made from old vines of 60+ years. Clean mid yellow. Interesting complex aromatics, not very floral but with a little smoky steely character, pure slate as well. High acidity but with enough body to take it, as the fruit returns after the acid. " 

Bill Nanson - "A more vertical nose – and vibrantly fine too. Incisive, so vibrant, brightly acidic – I’m sucking on a lemon here – but I love that. Again acid-a-phobes would be advised to miss this one but I absolutely love it."

90-92 Points Galloni (Neal Martin) - The 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet Maltroye 1er Cru has a slight muted bouquet at first, opening with aeration with orange blossom and white peach scents. The palate is well balanced with pear and citrus peel on the entry, fine acidity, quite edge towards the finish with a twist of bitter lemon on the aftertaste. Very fine.
